Las Glorias SP-12 Pilot Project

A team gathered from churches from North Arkansas (accompanied by Emily Fausett and Chris McRae of SUTS) are working together with the Mayor Orlando of Trinidad and Operating Partners from Las Glorias to install the new SP-12(single panel, 12 volt) systems to power a group of 9 homes in Las Glorias, Honduras. Las Glorias is a rural mountain community in the municipality of Trinidad that does not have access to conventional electricity and likely never will.

This project is being sponsored by multiple churches and individuals, including the mayor of Trinidad who had come to us saying that he would come up with 30% of the cost of a project done in this community.
